John Bromberg

The Belin Award encouraged John Bromberg to form an ensemble of talented musicians, dancers and puppeteers, known as Pictures Moved By Strings Puppet Theatre. John serves as artistic director for the group which holds an annual festival on his farm, attracting puppet artists from Russia, China, Israel and throughout the U.S. A graduate of Pratt Fine Arts Center, John’s work has been recognized by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, National Endowment for the Arts, the Rockefeller Foundation and the Andy Warhol Foundation, among others.
