James J. Peck

When James J. Peck received the Belin Scholarship award he founded Nutshell Masks and Theater which created and toured a mask-dance show, “Carnival of the Animals,” to the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic, the Eugene Symphony, the Rogue Valley Symphony, Oregon Stage Works and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival where he has worked as an actor for 19 years. Today, James continues to work as an actor, teaches mask work and stage combat, builds masks and performs in them.
